We are a group of dedicated multisport athletes in and around Northern Indiana. We range in experience from nada to 30+ years.Whether you have ever wanted to do a triathlon, or if you are experienced and want to train with other elite triathletes, there is something for everyone. “Get off the Road” with Brian Holzhausen

Outline: “Get off the Road”
Equipment: We will discuss the equipment needed for racing XTERRA and other off road events. We will prioritize “needs” and “wants” for those who think finances will hinder their interest in XTERRA or mountain biking.
Training: If you’re already training for road triathlons, just a few tweaks are all you need be confident at an XTERRA start line!
XTERRA: We’ll discuss what XTERRA is, what makes is so unique and fun, and the path to National and World Championships.
Brian Holzhausen is the director of DINO (Do INdiana Off-road – DINOseries.com). DINO focuses on trail running and mountain bike events. Brian conceived Indiana’s first XTERRA off-road triathlon, which began in 2002. In addition to these endurance / adventure sports being his career, Brian is an avid participant in them. His racing resume includes triathlons, adventure races, running races from 5k to 50k, and cycling events. Brian and his wife Amanda competed at the 2002 XTERRA National Championship and several regional championship XTERRA races. Brian has finished two Ironman races and over 100 other triathlons from sprint to half Iron distance. Brian lives with Amanda and their four children just east of Indianapolis.
